Delivery Timelines

Our furniture delivery times range from 2 – 21 working days depending on whether the furniture is bespoke handmade in the UK or readymade. The estimated delivery time for Scotland is 7-28 working days.

Please note 2-21 working days delivery is a guideline; all products are dispatched within 2–21 days. On rare occasions, the 21 working days delivery may not be met due to logistical issues, 3rd party delivery companies, as well as natural reasons (i.e., weather conditions, national emergency).

For customers in other areas, and Northern Ireland: Please contact our friendly team to get a quote, as we will still be able to satisfy your needs.

IMPORTANT! Additional postage costs apply to the following areas:

  • Scottish postcodes AB, HS, IV, KA27 & 28, KW, PA20 & above, PH4 and above and ZE.
  • Northern Ireland.
  • Southern Ireland.
  • Scottish Isles, Channel Isles, and all other Isles of the mainland.

Delivery Access

  • Your order will be delivered by a one-person delivery service.
  • Delivery is to the hallway of your property only.
  • The driver is not insured to enter your premises and cannot deliver beyond the hallway.

To keep our delivery windows fast and reliable for all families, Oliver & Sons operates as a Delivery-Only service. While we bring every order directly to your door, please note that we do not offer a return collection service.

Missed Deliveries and Liabilities

In the event that a delivery is missed due to the customer being unavailable to accept the order at the agreed delivery time, a re-delivery charge of £49.00 will apply. This fee must be paid before a new delivery date is scheduled.

We cannot accept any liability or refund delivery charges due to severe weather if the delivery is cancelled or delayed; we do not accept liability for third-party delivery vehicle breakdowns.

Assembly

Assembly is available in select areas and scheduled separately. If eligible, assembly is booked 2 days after delivery (up to 1 week in rare cases). Assembly covers building only and excludes heavy lifting due to insurance restrictions, and rubbish removal is not included. Please be advised once the assembly is booked in we are unable to cancel or refund.
